👋 Hello, I’m Kai Yang!

👨‍🔬 I am currently a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Digital Synthesis Lab at UCLA, working with Prof. Daniel Schwalbe-Koda.

💡 I am interested in the intersection of computational methods and materials science, with a particular emphasis on amorphous materials. My current research focuses on generative AI and machine learning interatomic potentials in materials discovery.

🎓 As a triple Bruin, I completed all my Ph.D., M.Sc., and B.Sc. at UCLA, under the supervision of Dr. Mathieu Bauchy.
